About JasMollica

"It's never too late to have a life and it's never too late to change one." That's something I tell students, friends, and family all the time. After living and working in New York City, I took my own advice in 2004, switched my career from the television/radio industry and got into public relations. Now, I spend my days as a PR/social media marketing consultant and get inspired daily. It's been a good ride, so far. But the car has plenty of gas left. I hope you'll join along in this guy's journey!

I am always impressed at how you condense points into a minute’s worth of time. It is a big challenge for me to get everything I want to say into my vlogs in four minutes. Hopefully practice will help.

I agree it is reassuring to know leaders aren’t perfect; as a working mom I have had many role models who I watched struggle with the various demands of parenting and work without doing it flawlessly – but they got their work done and their kids were nurtured. If I had thought they were “bringing home the bacon and frying it up in a pan” effortlessly I may have given up.

(And if I am dating myself with a reference to a 1980’s commercial, here’s the link: http://youtu.be/jA4DR4vEgrs)

  2. Hi Paula,

I’m appreciative of your compliments. It’s not easy, but you are right… practice does help! 🙂

I remember that commercial and that line. Leaders are not perfect and shouldn’t be, I think (oddly enough) this makes a better leader and person.
