The CEO of You

I’m beyond excited to be traveling to Philadelphia in a few weeks to be part of PRSSA’s National Conference. Not only will I be visiting the city I got my start in, professionally, I’m also getting a chance to share something I’m passionate about: Personal Branding. The title of my talk is, “The CEO of You.” In this video, I explain a little of what PRSSA members can expect in the talk and what you can expect in the days leading up to this.

Let me know your thoughts and I hope to see you in Philly!

About JasMollica

"It's never too late to have a life and it's never too late to change one." That's something I tell students, friends, and family all the time. After living and working in New York City, I took my own advice in 2004, switched my career from the television/radio industry and got into public relations. Now, I spend my days as a PR/social media marketing consultant and get inspired daily. It's been a good ride, so far. But the car has plenty of gas left. I hope you'll join along in this guy's journey!

  1. Great video Jason look forward to the upcoming ones on this topic!

  2. So true Jason! And I think a big part of being “CEO of yourself” and personal branding is consistency. In the sense that so many times people get “introduced” to us via social media. They’ve seen your tweets, your FB statuses; they may have heard your voice via YouTube, Vine, or IG video but ….. if and when you have the opportunity to meet face to face, will you be “who you’ve promoted” all along? I don’t know if that makes sense but I know I think about it a lot —— there are some people I have met IRL who I felt like I knew SO WELL via all the exchanges we had had over SM but when it came time to really talk, I was worried that it would be a disappointment …. to them that I wasn’t what I had portrayed …. [epilogue: I am batting 1000 on these IRL meetings ….. I have walked away from each one of them with a deeper and more treasured connection …. but I still worry!]

  3. Great post Jason! I so wish I could attend your session but am very much looking forward to seeing you.
